Clayton County’s “Demonstration for Non-violence”
September 9th Clayton County’s “Demonstration for Non-violence”
On September 9th Masscomm will be lending its support to our fellow community enrichment leader, K.O.P.E., in Clayton County for Riverdale’s march for Non-violence. We congratulate our partner, K.O.P.E., on successfully having their, “Declaration of Peace” adopted as a proclamation for the city of Riverdale on August 28, 2006 at 7pm. The Proclamation signing will be held at the city council meeting on the Monday of the 28th. This is a momentous occasion for all who have supported this cause and especially for the young, up-and-coming leaders in our community. We support those steps taken to support non-violence and the development of unity within the state and national community. Please attend to show your support and exercise your voice!

This was really a landmark day. Everything came together for a great march. Seeing so many young men and women getting together to promote peace and non-violence was amazing! If you missed the march, you really missed a chance to witness and be a part of history!

Like it was once said, the march was absolutely amazing, and I look forward to seeing Kope do more in the community in the time ahead!
