In the Paint ‘07

Hello all! If you have not heard by now; the Virginia Gray Recreation Center of Clayton County in association with Masscomm and K.O.P.E, sponsored a 3 on 3 basketball tournament called In the Paint ‘07. The event was a huge success. We had a slam dunk contest, a skills competition, and of course lots of basketball. Our purpose was to bring everyone, from all walks of life together to a common ground, or should I say court. Nonetheless, the event was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We would like to send a special shout-out to our 14-17 2nd place finalist “College Park Eagles” and our 14-17 Champions, “Banneker.” We would also like to acknowledge our 18-24 2nd place finalist “The Mumins” and our 18-24 Champions, “It Don’t Matter,” who proved once and for all that, 5 hours of non-stop basketball doesn’t even phase real ballers. We hope that the tournament was a fun experience for everyone, and whether you attended as a participant or as a spectator, please fill out our survey, so that we can make the tournament even better next year, and for the years to come.
