Georgia SAT Scores Down!

August 31st, 2006 by J.Dawkins

Ok so I took a look at the recently published SAT scores for Clayton County, and this year’s scores were down from last year. Now I do understand that there was a writing section that was added this past year and I can imagine it does have a particular influence on availability of resources, accurate studying material and adequate preparation time. However, I must ask three simple questions that may not be as simple to answer.

  1. What resources around you did you use when you were studying for the SAT (ex. Help Guides, parents, peers, study groups, etc.)?
  2. What are some of the things that were missing, or acted as a distraction when preparing for the SAT?
  3. Lastly. Would having more study sessions, studying material and general preparation resources available would have helped you or, for parents, your child be better prepared.

We here at Masscomm, have some wonderful things we are preparing for, however we need your help to figure out what will best fit your needs, register and let me know what you think. Simply click on the comment button at the top of this article and let me know what will help. We are here for you.
