Today the state of Georgia released its AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) Report. The AYP is a standardized assessment used to measure year-to-year student achievement on statewide assessments. More information about AYP can be found on the Georgia Department of Education’s Official Website. AYP is one of the cornerstones of the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, also be mindful that this report affects property value and is a component of overall community marketability. Please check the list to see if your school(s) made the cut.
